UNC-Chapel Hill Family Weekend is held each fall to introduce families of undergraduate students to their son's or daughter's campus life and help them become more familiar with Carolina. The focus of this annual weekend is welcoming families as members of the Carolina community. Receptions, concerts, seminars and a Saturday Tar Heel football game and BBQ are among the traditionally planned activities. The Office of New Student & Carolina Parent Programs and the Parents Council work with a committee comprised of academic units and offices across the University to plan and implement Family Weekend.

This year we are pleased to announce a special partnership with Chili's Restaurant and the Carolina Parent Fund. When you dine at one of our local Chili?s Restaurant locations (15-501/Garrett Rd. in Durham or the Fayetteville Rd-South Point Mall location) from Thursday, October 1st ? Sunday, October 4th, Chili?s will donate 10% of their sales back to the Carolina Parents Fund. A special flyer and coupon will be included in your Family Weekend Check-in Packet.
