Summer Send-Off parties, sponsored by Parent Programs and hosted by parents and Carolina Alumni across the country, provide new Carolina students the opportunity to meet other students from their and have their questions answered in an informal setting before the semester begins. Parents also benefit from meeting other parents, having their questions answered by seasoned Carolina parents, and being introduced to the Carolina Family outside of Chapel Hill.

We have received positive feedback on this program from parents, hosts, and students alike. However, because of its national scope, we depend on parents to host Summer Send-Offs.
